Dry Montana Red
Made in Montana from world-class Syrah grown by Harold Pleasant, Prosser, Washington and our estate-grown French-American hybrid reds, Maréchal Foch, Frontenac, Leon Millot and St. Croix.
Peppery tobacco chased by black cherry and raspberry and enhanced by supple tannins, builds to a rich taste and long finish.
One of the rarest birds in the world, condors once ranged nationwide, but by 1985 only 9 wild birds were left–a result of shooting, cyanide and lead poisoning and habitat degradation.
Like Number 23 on the label, every condor in the wild is numbered. Today five nests are hidden in the canyon’s cliffs, and in 2014 the first condor hatched in the wild! The condor comeback from a handful of birds in 1987 is one of the U.S.’s greatest achievements. A dollar a bottle sold of Air Patrol goes to The Peregrine Fund to help condor recovery.
